M. L. [Bart] Bartlett, Jr., is founder of the Bartlett Law Firm / Collaborative Law Center.
Born in Columbia, South Carolina, Mr. Bartlett earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Carolina and earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
Mr. Bartlett is admitted to practice before all State and Federal District Courts in South Carolina. He is certified by the South Carolina Board of Arbitrator and Mediator as a Circuit Court and Family Court Mediator. Mr. Bartlett is a certified collaborative lawyer and is a member of the International Association of Collaborative Professionals. He is one of the few lawyers in South Carolina with the credentials to train other lawyers and professionals in the Collaborative Law process. Mr. Bartlett serves on the Board and is the President Elect for the South Carolina Academy of Collaborative Professionals. Mr. Bartlett has also been elected as the 2017 President of the Building Industry Association of Central South Carolina.
Mr. Bartlett is member of the Kappa Alpha Order and is married to Emilie Z. Bartlett, MD. They have identical twin boys, Louie and Lawton and their Standard Poodle, Annie.
