M. L. [Bart] Bartlett is the founder of Bartlett Law Firm / Collaborative Law Center. With nearly two decades of providing the utmost legal representation to clients, he continues his success representing his clients across the state of South Carolina.
A native of South Carolina, Mr. Bartlett received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Carolina in Columbia. He earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. Mr. Bartlett is admitted to practice before all Federal District Courts in South Carolina.
He is certified by the South Carolina Board of Arbitrator and Mediator as both a Circuit Court and Family Court Mediator. Having completed his training as a certified collaborative lawyer, Mr. Bartlett is a member of the International Association of Collaborative Professionals and is one of only a few lawyers in Columbia, South Carolina with the credentials to train other lawyers in Collaborative Law and the process. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the South Carolina Collaborative Law Institute and is a founding member of the Columbia Collaborative Law Center.
When he is not working, he can be found playing golf, biking, jogging, reading, writing or spending time with his wife, Leigh and their identical twin boys, Louie and Lawton.
